Anna Silk (born January 31 1974) is a Canadian actor most famously known for her portrayal of Bo from the Showcase television series Lost Girl. Silk was raised in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Silk is the daughter Peter an academic, and Ilkay Silk, an acclaimed actress director producer playwright educator and director of drama in St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Some of Anna's earliest impressions were of practice sessions for her children and watching her mom work. Silk appeared in several commercials while she was young. In 1997, she earned a bachelor's degree from St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas was engaged in two early theater productions including Seven Menus (1997) and The Kitchen (1999). Silk made the move to Toronto in order to develop her acting skills in November 1999. She then, over the decade that followed, she relocated to Los Angeles California.
